March 2023 Stamp of the Month Card

 A new month also means a new Stamp of the Month and March has a fantastic stamp set for you! This adorable set is only available during the month of March. After that it's gone, gone, gone! This stamp set is so cute it's hard to pick out which image to create with! I ultimately picked out this cute hedgehog based on size of the image and the project I planned to make. 

A big shout out to Maker Laura Beacham! Her card is what inspired my version and I love it! Thank you Laura!

I started with a card base from our must have White Card and Envelopes Value Pack. Having this on hand makes it very easy to create a card at a moments notice!

Next I decided to use a paper from our Mix-in Paper Pack (Jan-Mar 2023). This pack of papers is designed to stand on their own or mix with any of our other paper packs. 

Using Cardstock in White Daisy and Glacier along with Exclusive Inks in Black and Glacier I was set to begin my card! 

I stamped an image in the background to tone down some of the white space and give some base to the squares. The small squares are 1" x 1" and the main square is 2 1/4" x 2 1/4". I used our TriBlend Markers to color the image (Tan Blend, Coral Blend, Lt. Yellow Blend and Aqua Blue Blend). 

A Journal Pen was used to doodle on each of the squares and all squares were popped up on Thin Foam Tape. The little banners are one of the Zip Borders. These Zip Borders are on all our papers and are a little extra tool for creating!

The final step was painting a bit of Clear Shimmer Brush on the butterfly. It doesn't photograph well but it really is there!
