Kissing is for stamping. Did you know that? It's true! Stamp kissing is easy and fun and what we're featuring this month in the Technique Blog Hop! If you've arrived from Helen Gullett's blog you're on the right track. It's a circular hop so jump on and keep clicking the links to continue on the hop.
So I paired up the Feb. Stamp of the Month: Balloon Animals with the kissing technique. You need a solid stamp image and an image with a pattern for kissing. I chose the elephant for my solid image and On the Plus Side for my pattern image. First you ink up your solid image. Before stamping you take your pattern image and "kiss" it to the inked image. It's kind of like stamping the pattern image onto the inked image. this picks up the ink off the solid image leaving the pattern. The hello sentiment is from the Feb special stamp set called Share the Love.
*NOTE: Balloon Animals and Share the Love stamp sets are only available until Feb 29th. After that they are gone, gone GONE!

This is so stinkin' cute! I love how your stamp kissed elephant is coming out of the "window". What a clever idea. Thanks for inspiring me today!
