August 2015 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop ~ Framed

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Hop! Our August set, Framed, is a great set you'll use over and over! Hop along with us for really great and inspiring ideas for Framed! If you've arrived from Haley Dyer's blog you're on the right path. Click on the link in each post to continue along on the hop. It's a big circle so you can jump on at any spot. Here is a link to all the hoppers.

I had a lot of fun with this stamp set. I was also in the mood to dry emboss. It paired up nicely with Framed and here are the results! Each card has a different technique besides the dry embossing.

The lagoon frame was pigment embossed. I stamped in Lagoon pigment ink and clear embossed over it. You get a rich color tone with a shiny embossed look. The dry embossing is the Stripes folder.

The pink frame was simply stamped in Pixie ink (dye ink) directly onto the cardstock. Quick and easy! The dry embossing is with our Hearts folder. Notice the pink sparkles? I colored a few of the sparkles with the Tender Pink ShinHan marker!

Finally, the silver card was heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The background was dry embossed with the Floral folder.

All three cards follow the same design idea. But with using different materials and techniques all have a very different look! Try switching out a color, technique or embellishment to change the look of your project!
