Color Dare #225 ~ Cashmere, Champagne, Pomegranate, Fern with Colonial White

Welcome to the first Color My Heart color challenge of 2017! Can you believe we're starting a brand new year already? Where does the time go? We have a great color dare for  you this week so let's get started! If you would like to share your creation we would LOVE to see it! You need to work with the color dare colors. If you don't have one of  the color you can substitute something close, but don't add any new ones. Details on how to share your artwork are in the sidebar of our home page.

These colors made me feel a winter elegance kind of feeling. So I warmed up my Cricut, tapped into the Close To My Heart Flower Market cartridge and got busy cutting! The flowers are in Colonial White and brushed with the Shimmer Brush. The pine cones are Champagne and Cashmere. There are Clear Sparkles sprinkled around the layout. Rather than leave them clear....which was very pretty.... I decided to use a marker to color them and it's very pretty! I also used the edge of a block to create the lines.

All products are Close To My Heart:
--Cricut Flower Market
--Cardstock: Colonial White, Cashmere, Champagne, Pomegranate, Fern
--Exclusive Inks: Pomegranate
--Shimmer Brush
--Clear Sparkles
--ShinHan Marker: Sap Green

If you need a consultant I'd be happy to help.
If you'd like to BE a consultant I can help with that, too!

Now it's your turn!
Create a paper craft using the color dare colors and share it with us. We LOVE seeing what you create! Go check out the Color My Heart home page for details!

  2. Really pretty layout! I'm so glad you included closeup photos--those flowers are so sparkly! I love how you used the edge of an acrylic block to create distressed lines on the background pages and how you used champagne and cashmere for the pinecones. Thanks for inspiring me once again! :) Marie
