Sunny Thoughts Card ~ Color Dare 280

Open through March 1st

Aren't these pretty colors! I couldn't wait to create something with this palette and hope you'll feel the same. We LOVE seeing what you're inspired to make.

I used the new Make It from Your Heart Vol. 4 as the start for my card. It's so easy since there is a guide showing you paper sizes and placement. You can stick to the actual example or use it as a starting point and make your own adjustments. It's a fantastic tool to have at hand!

The background is stamped and creates a pretty look for the sentiment circle, flower and border. The flower was colored with a water brush and reinkers and the pink shimmer brush was used on the flower center and work sentiment.

  1. Beautiful card, Michelle! I love that you left the stamped background uncolored, how you added emerald ribbon behind the scallop die cut, and outlined Sunshine with the blush shimmer pen.

  2. Gorgeous card, Michelle! I love the black and white stamped background panel--I may have to try this idea again soon. I love the accents you used also.

  3. Love your stamped background...I never think to use my square stamps like that...and the black background really makes your other colors from the challenge pop. Beautiful card and great sentiment display.
