May SOTM ~ Classic Summer Bash

It's the first of the month and you know what that means! That's right....time for our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you've come from the blog of Melinda Everett you're doing fine. Just keep clicking the links in each post to go to the next blog.

I decided to combine our Stamp of the Month: Classic Summer Bask with our other special called Postcard Perfect. I stamped the jar on vellum and fussy cut it out. I also fussy cut the straw but the rest of the card was easy to put together!

Hint 1: if you've never used vellum before it has a plastic quality to it. This means you have to let the ink air dry or gently use the heat tool to dry the ink.

Hint 2: I gently sponged some Lemon ink on the back of the stamped vellum jar to look like it was full of lemonade.sponging on the back of the vellum gives you a softer color. If you want it bolder, sponge on the front!

Don't forget the Stamp of the Month: Classic Summer Bash, is only available May 1-31, 2018. Once May is gone so is this stamp set!
