Flowers Always Anniversary Card ~ Color Dare #358

Well it's that time of year where your kids are back in school or about to go back to school. Summer always goes so fast!

This challenge form the Design Team at Color My Heart Color Dare is about colors we typically see in an elementary classroom. Use the photo below for to choose your colors for any paper craft you like. DO NOT add any colors to the palette that aren't in the photo but we are giving you some free colors: black, white + neutrals.  

For my card I used a stamp set offered at our recent Stampaganza Sale. The gorgeous flowers were just too much to pass. I love flowers and although I don't seem to be able to grow them, I can create with them this way.

I stamped the flowers and used ShinHan markers to color them. After that I fussy cut them out and placed them on the layers used for the card front. I popped up the yellow flower spray a bit with some Thin 3D Foam Tape because it just adds a bit of depth. I also added some shimmer to the three largest flowers. A journal pen was used to darken the center details of the large yellow flower.
