Sunflower Layout ~ Color Dare #362

Take a look at this beautiful photo! All the gorgeous colors, WOW! What paper craft does this inspire you to make using colors you see in the photo?

Use ONLY colors you see in the photo with Black & White being free colors. Make any paper craft you like and link to our home page

I knew exactly what I wanted to make! I had some photos of a trip to the sunflower farm nearby and felt it was perfect for this challenge. I had this design in my head and crossed my fingers it would turn out as good for real. Do you ever do that with your projects? I had originally pictured this layout with a blue background for a sky, BUT there isn't any blue in the photo so I had to change that to pink. Pink is in the photo and on clothes in the photos so I was good to go.

I stamped the sunflowers, cut strips for the stalks and stamped the leaves. I covered the sunflowers with shimmer; gold for the center and clear for the petals. I did the same thing for the butterflies and title.

  2. Great scrapbook pages, reminds me of the fields of sunflowers back east in New York when we would stop by a field and my dad would take pictures and those sunflowers were so tall. Beautiful layout.
