I knew exactly what I wanted to make! I had some photos of a trip to the sunflower farm nearby and felt it was perfect for this challenge. I had this design in my head and crossed my fingers it would turn out as good for real. Do you ever do that with your projects? I had originally pictured this layout with a blue background for a sky, BUT there isn't any blue in the photo so I had to change that to pink. Pink is in the photo and on clothes in the photos so I was good to go.
I stamped the sunflowers, cut strips for the stalks and stamped the leaves. I covered the sunflowers with shimmer; gold for the center and clear for the petals. I did the same thing for the butterflies and title.

Great scrapbook pages, reminds me of the fields of sunflowers back east in New York when we would stop by a field and my dad would take pictures and those sunflowers were so tall. Beautiful layout.ReplyDelete
