Beautiful Layout ~ Color Dare #388

Springtime colors abound in our Color My Heart Color Dare Inspirational Photo for this challenge. After all, we're all ready for some Spring!

Pick colors from the photo and create any paper craft you like. Do Not add any extra colors to the palette other than instructed. Most important......have fun creating!

I thought this photo of my granddaughter was a perfect choice for this palette. The blue tone in her dress, the pink tones in her skin and the grey tone in the tree decided my colors. I've seen wall arrangements of photos that use empty frames along with some with photos. I really liked the look and decided to use it on this layout.

The frames were made with Thin Cut Dies so it was quick and easy. I love the paper in the background. The pattern is so pretty and the frames accent it nicely. The flowers and butterflies were cut from our Cricut Flower Market cartridge. The centers of the flowers were filled in with Stickles. I hand drew some antennas for the butterflies and added some sparkles for fun.

NOTE: Did you notice the Cricut link on the right of my page? I now have an affiliation with them that gives you complete access to all things Cricut....including all the Close To My Heart cartridges both current AND retired!
