Spotlight Technique with O-fish-ally Awesome Set

Having fun in the craft room today and decided to combine these two challenges for a fun card. It's uses a fun and easy technique called a Spotlight Technique. This is a technique that's been around a long time! It's always fun to bring back something you learned long ago....or just now!

Double Trouble Challenge - use squares and share with a partner blog.
Heart 2 Heart Challenge - use the colors Pixie, Canary, Lagoon and Julep.

I love this cute stamp set that basically puts an aquarium in your hands! It's our April Stamp of the Month and only available from April 1-30. There are so many options with this set and I've only used a few of them on this card.

I decided to use the Spotlight Technique which means having some of your image colored in and some left in black and white. The square frame works to show off the part of the colored image and you can see outside of the square the images or part of the images left black and white. See....it's that simple and easy! For the rest of the card I chose paper from our These are My People paper pack on special this month and cardstock in the Heart 2 Heart colors to accent the marker colors for that challenge. Because bling makes everything better I added some clear sparkles to finish it off!
