The first of the month means we have a blog hop to do! Our December Stamp of the Month is so pretty and has great sentiments. You're goin to love it and all the ideas you see on the hop.
The blog before mine belongs to Katy Taylor. Click the link in each post to go to the next blog on our hop. It's that easy so just sit back, relax and get ready to be wow'd!
I LOVE our Color of the Year: Blue Belle! It's a soft blue with a dusky tone to it. Here I've paired with the Serenity paper pac. My favorite pattern is the one that looks like a window during a hard rain storm. I used some Blue Belle cardstock for the bottom of the card front and stamped with one of the images. To create the scalloped edge I used one of our Thin Cut dies. I also cut that same edge in glitter paper to give a nice defined edge along the scallop. The sentiment is stamped on Blue Belle then layers on the same glitter paper as along the scallop. A few gems and it was done! Oops! I forgot to mention I stamped a bit of the flower stamp so it would peek out from behind the sentiment.
TIP: It's hard to get anything to stick to the glitter paper. On the scalloped border I used liquid Glue to make the pieces stick together. For the sentiment layer I popped it up with Thin 3D Foam Tape.
