Just a Note Card ~ Color Dare #439

Welcome to our Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge. We give you the color palette and you create any paper craft you like! It's that easy! When you're ready to join the challenge go to our home page and use the link in the post.  

I decided to make a simple card for this challenge. I wanted my ONE color to shine with the black and white. I used a distress oxide ink and made it fade down the piece of cardstock. Next I used my water brush to flick droplets of water onto the ink to activate it. That way you get these amazing little.... or big.... drops forming from the water. It adds a lot of texture and eye appeal to your project!

In line with keeping it simple I stamped some flowers across the bottom of the card front. It looks like a garden, doesn't it! Because you can always use a little bling I added some Clear Sparkles for the finishing touch.

Here's a close-up to show off how those drops of water change the look of the distress oxide ink. Even though I only used the ONE color it gives me different tones of it. 

This is the inside of the card. I stamped the flowers on the inside and added a little sprig of flowers in the distress oxide ink to bring that color to the inside, too.
