I was inspired by a card I saw online. I don't know who made it so if you see your idea in my card contact me so I can give you credit.
I love this moonlit woodland look. I made a Christmas Card but change out the sentiment and you could have a wonderful masculine birthday card!
This card is also being shared at Crafting Happiness Challenges: 137 Christmas
I chose to go with a simple shadowed look using the tree image. I used torn scrap paper to create the snowy hills. I used the un-torn edge of scrap paper to create the shafts of moonlight. The sponging was done with our Mini Ink Blending Tools and Mini Dome Ink Blending Sponges. These dome sponges are wonderful and create a nice blend in the colors.
The card base is from our White Cards and Envelopes Value Pack ( a must have item). Cardstock is White Daisy with the Specialty Cardstock in Sapphire Glitter. Exclusive Inks are Periwinkle, Bluebird and Sapphire. White Gel Pen was used to create the snow caught in the branches. The entire card was splattered with a Clear Shimmer Brush. The image layer was popped up a bit on Thin Foam Tape.
