I decided to make a Tri-Fold card with a window feature for my card. It's not as hard as it sounds to make so just be patient and you'll do fine.

I started with a regular size card (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") and glued on the pattern paper. Then using the smallest frame of our Stitched Square Thin Cut Dies I cut the hole in the front of the card. I outlined the window using a black marker and added some gold sequins to give it some pop!

This is the card as it looks opened once. I added a panel by cutting cardstock 5 1/5" x 4 1/2". I scored 1/4" from the edge on the long side. I folded this back and slipped it onto the right side of the opened card gluing it to the back with that 1/4" fold. Now you have the Tri-fold.

I decorated this layer with a little garden scene. To center the flower in the window on the card front I put a couple tine pencil lines to make where the window would be and stamped the flower inside those marks. Then I erased the pencil marks and got busy coloring the flowers with markers and sponging some sky. The center of the flower has some of the dots covered in Stickles for some dimension and sparkle.

The inside of the card was stamped with the sentiment and an accent flower. Because the markers show through the cardstock, I added another piece of pattern paper to hide that from sight giving a nice finished look.

Floral Celebrations is our August Stamp of the Month. This means it's only available from August 1-31, 2020. You can also get this stamp set with a huge discount with a qualifying order! Click here for details.
